FLORA OF LAOS Hin Nam No Nature Protected Area Meliaceae Munronia lancifolia Aver. & S.K. Nguyen, sp. nov. ? (M. unifoliolata Oliv. & M. petelotii Merr. aff.) Laos, Khammouane prov., Boualapha distr., Nong Seng village, southern sandstone slopes of Phou Chuang (Poujeuang) Mt. around point 17°34'13.3"N, 105°47'57.5"E. Primary evergreen broad-leaved dry forest at elev. 300-600 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb or undershrub 10-15 cm tall on open rocky slope. Flowers white. Occasional. 6 May 2018, L. Averyanov, Khang Sinh Nguyen, T. Maisak, Littideth Xaiyavongsa, Siphanom Keovankham, AL 687. This is closest to M. unifoliolata, but different from the staminal tube (with 10 long teeth). This genus until now recorded only 4 species (2014). Ii is also closed to M. longipetiola described from Vietnam (2014) in Quang Ninh province, all other species of M. the staminal tube divided 2 o 3. This species not divided.
