FLORA OF VIETNAM Zingiberaceae Zingiber cochleariforme D. Fang Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr., Tung Vai Commune, Kho My Village, around point 23.08460ºN 104.88377ºE steep rocky slopes composed with highly eroded limestone at elevation 1000–1250 m a.s.l. Primary evergreen broad-leaved very humid forest. Terrestrial herb to 3 m tall in open rocky place. Flowers yellow, the lip with brownish marks. Edible being fried with meat.
