FLORA OF VIETNAM Flacourtiaceae Hydnocarpus anthelminthicus Pierre ex Gagnep. Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr., Tung Vai Commune, Kho My Village, around point 23.08460ºN 104.88377ºE steep rocky slopes composed with highly eroded limestone at elevation 1000–1250 m a.s.l. Primary evergreen broad-leaved very humid forest. Tree to 10 m tall. Flowers caulifloric. Fruits globular about 10-12 cm in diameter, pale brownish, very hard, with many seeds and juicy edible endocarpium. Not common. 6 October 2019, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Sinh Khang, T. Maisak, VR 1394.
