Elevation to Mang Han San quartzite peak by SW. slope from Ban Thao village (SSW macroslope of Hoang Lien Son ridge). Primary wet evergreen broadleaved forest on very steep rocky slope at. 1400-1500 m elev. Terrestrial and lithophyte forb up to- 0.3 m hg on. shady wet cliffs along stream and waterfall sides.
