Dendrobium cariniferum Rchb.f.

S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Sa Thay Distr., Sa Son Municipality, Chu Mom Ray nature reserve (14ø25'N, 107ø44'E). Secondary open broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on granites at elev. 500-600 m. Epiphyte on high tree. Flowers light yellow, lip light yellow with orange keels, column at front with red spot. Not common.
