Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Yen Minh Distr, Lao Va Chai Municipality, vicinities of Chi Sang village around point 23°05′55″N, 105°04′10″E at elevation about 1500 m a.s.l. Primary mossy coniferous forest with Tsuga sinensis and Pinus kwamgtungensis on tops of high rocky ridge composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone. Climbing shrub with shoots up to 3 m long.
