Cao Bang Prov., Bao Lac Distr., Dinh Phung municipality, Ban Meo village.
Secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on steep stream slope composed by shale stratified limestone at elevation 800-900 m a.s.l. around point 22°44′32.0″N 105°46′29.1″E.
Undershrub 1-1.5 m tall in steep shady rocky stream slope. Not common.
