N. Vietnam, Ha Giang prov., Quan Ba distr., Can Ti municipality, vicinities of Sing Xuoi Ho village (N 23°04′ E 104°59′), 26.2 km to 002° of Ha Giang city. Primary wet evergreen broadleaved closed forest on very steep rocky slope of karst remnant limestone ridge at elev. 800-1000 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on high trees. Very common. Also as lithophyte along tops of ridge at 1100 m.
