Near primary closed evergreen dry broad-leaved mixed needles forest on steep slopes of remnant or top mountains limestone at elevation 1220 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb up to 20- 30 cm tall. lip red. on top with Nageia fleury, Taxus chinensis, Xanthocyparis Vietnamensis, Paphiopedilum henryanum, P. malipoensae, P. micranthum (Photos) NTH 5420 January 2003.
