S.Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue Prov., Xuan Loc Distr., Bach Ma National Park, steep S slopes along Dong Truoi ridge around point 16°14′11′'N 107°44′28′'E at elev. 600-800 m a.s.l. Broad-leaved evergreen primary closed wet forest along steep rocky
slopes and cliffs of shady stream canyon. Epiphyte on high trees. Flowers light violet, sweet fragrant. Common.
