Moc Chau district, Van Ho municipality, Hua Tat village. On degraded limestone mountain, with rocky outcrops and some large Pinus kwangtungensis trees; surrounded by cultivated fields, somewhat logged of largest, most valuable trees; on limestone substrate from 1250-1375 m elevation.

Occasional; terrestrial among rocks; older leaves almost black; tepals light green; labellum light green with dull
red-purple spots, brighter and deeper color on flank; rostellum green at tip, with red-purple spots inside.
