FLORA OF VIETNAM Orchidaceae Juss. Cymbidium sanderae Sander ex Rolfe
N. Vietnam, Son La prov., Moc Chau distr., Long Luong municipality, near Sang Cai village (20°45′51′'N, 104°51′26′'E). Primary wet broad-leaved evergreen and semideciduous mossy forest along tops of remnant limestone highly eroded ridge at elev. 1500 m a.s.l. Large epiphyte on Lewistona sp. Flowers odorless, tepals white with light pink tint and finest purple-violet stripes, lip with white background and pink tint at basal part, yellowish at center, all over with red-purple stripes and marks, column purple-violet, anther white, keels dull light yellowish-brown. Not common.
