Vietnam, Dak Lak Prov., Krong Bong Distr., Hoa Son Municipality, steep rocky and cliffy slopes of Krong Kmar river on NE slopes of Chu Yang Sin mt system at elevation 600-700 m a.s.l. around point 12°28′38″N 108°20′12″E.

Secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest with bamboo on very steep rocky slopes.

Terrestrial achlorophyllous light yellowish to white root parasite. Not common.
