Hoa Binh Prov., Tan Lac Distr., Ngo Luong Municipality, Tram Hai Village, ca. 500 m to S of 20°28′15”N 105°17′21”E.
In secondary evergreen broad-leaved scrub on slopes of shale mts., at elevation about 750-850 m a.s.l.
Small tree, ca. 4-5 m tall. Rather common.
