Ha Giang

Vi Xuyen district; Cao Bo municipality, Tam Ve village. From main camp in semi-closed, slightly disturbed

evergreen submontane broadleaf forest; with some secondary vegetaton; a disturbed bamboo zone; few large

(valuable) timber trees; mostly small trees. Many Fagaceae, Lauraceae, Melastomataceae, Gesneriaceae.

Occasional, epiphytic on mossy tree trunk; young fruit light green, tipped brown.
