East Malaysia, Sabah, herbarium specimen prepared from plant cultivated by Giselher Cramer, Bischofswiesen-Strub, Germany on 15 August 2021, Olaf Gruss, s.n. (iso).

The new form differs from the typical Phalaenopsis doweryënsis Garay & Christenson by the yellow maculation of the petals and sepals with a white to yellowish ground color without any red tinge.
