Lam Dong Province, Don Duong District, old secondary dry evergreen broad-leaved and mixed (with Pinus kesiya) submontane forest on shale at elevation 1000-1100 m a.s.l. along rocky stream. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb on steep river slope. Locally common. 26 October 2019, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Van Canh, T. Maisak, AL 1167.4.

Flowered in cultivation on 04 10 2021, L. Averyanov, T. Maisak, AL 1167.4.
