Vietnam, Dac Lac Prov., Buon Don Distr., Krong Na municipality, Yok Don NP, around FPD station No 2, 12º52’17”N 107º48’08”E.

Dry open dipterocarp forest with short bamboo on ferralite thin weathered soils at elevation about 200 m a.s.l.

Evergreen tree about 5 m tall on Srepok River slope. Flowers white, filaments dirty-purple. Common.
