mountain, rocky outcrops from ca.
1200-1350 m surrounded by cultivated
fields, mostly logged for valuable
timber; on limestone.

Frequent; lithophyte above 1200 m;
pseudo-bulb green; to 3 m; outer tepals
and labellum with deep purple red,
orange at base of throat; rostellum
tipped in yellow; light, sweet
fragrance.
