Primary broad-leaved and mixed humid evergreen forest (with Podocarpus, Amentotaxus, Fokienia and Tsuga) on very steep slopes and along rocky ridge composed with solid crystalline highly eroded limestone at elevation about 1500-1550 m a.s.l. around point 22°48′10.2″N 105°49′24.8″E.
Epiphyte. Common.

Flowered in cult. 10 May 2016. Flowers pure white, lip with yellow spot at center and 2-3 brown stripes on side lobes; column brown; anther cap dull yellowish-brown. Photos. L. Averyanov.
