Degraded primary and secondary evergreen dry forest along rocky river on eroded sandstone at elev. about 350 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb in shady places on sandy soil. Leaves rigid, uniform green. Rare.

Flowered in horto in 27 April 2021, flowers dark dirty purple, free parts of lobes adaxially white, stigma dirty pale purple, anthers light yellow. Internal surface of perigone very glossy. L. Averyanov, T. Maisak, AL 150A garden number 1638.

Primary broadleaved evergreen dry forest on very steep slopes and on tops of rocky ridge composed with highly eroded crystalline limestone at elev. 200-250 m a.s.l. Lithophytic semi woody vine to 2 m long on open rocks along rocky ridge. Locally abundant.

Flowered under cultivation at Jan. 2014. Tepals brown with unclear yellowish-brown tessellation, outside nearly almost white, lip white, apex brown, center with 4 brown grooves, side lobes inside with fine purple marks, column white, operculum white, pollinia yellow. Photos.

Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky slopes and on tops of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded marble-like solid crystalline limestone at elevation 1150-1250 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on old mossy trees near top of ridge. Occasional.

Submontane primary evergreen closed forest on very steep mountain slopes composed with stratified solid shale.

Achlorophyllous yellowish saprophyte on very steep rocky slope. Flower buds yellowish. Very rare.

Very steep rocky slopes of highly eroded marble-like solid remnant limestone mountains at elevation 600-700 m a.s.l.

Lithophytic herb on shady mossy boulders on shady rocky slope. Flowers white, Leaves dull green-gray, with indistinct whitish median broad stripe. Occasional.
