N.Vietnam, Bac Kan Prov., Na Ri Distr., Liem Thuy Municipality, village Na Bo, around point 21º56'44''N, 106º05'09''E, at elevation 300-700 m a.s.l. Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed wet forest on very steep slopes and cliffs of rocky ridges and mesae composed with white solid marble-like crystalline limestone. Terrestrial and lithophytic fern on steep rocky slope. Very common.

Remnants of primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on cliffs and on very steep slopes of remnant hill composed by highly eroded limestone at elevation 900-1000 m a.s.l. around point 20°44’50.1’’N 104°47’54.5’’E. Lithophytic fern on wet travertine deposits along high waterfall. Abundant.

Northern Vietnam, Tuyen Quang Prov., Chiem Hoa Distr., Binh An Municipality, in the vicinity of point 22ø25'38''N, 105ø10'00''E. Secondary evergreen seasonal broad-leaved forest with bamboo on highly eroded remnant ridge composed with soft stratified limestone and lime schist consolidated with numerous quartzite dikes at elev. 450-550 m a.s.l. Lithophytic herb on wet travertine congelations on vertical shady cliff of S exposition. Common. Usual co-dominante of lithophytic herb community.

S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, 31 km to NE from Dalat city, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, vicinities Klong Lanh village (N 12° 08', E 108° 39'). Old open secondary coniferous forest with domination of Pinus kesiya on NW macroslope of Bi Dup mt system at 1600-1700 m alt. Terrestrial ephemeroid herb on open slope with Pteridium aquilinum. Not common.
