N.Vietnam, Ha Tinh Prov., Huong Son Distr., Son Kim Municipality, Rao Bun stream around point 18º23'39''N, 105º15'12''E. Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed wet forest on very steep shale slopes of

river canyon at elevation about 300-400 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphytic vine up to 8 m long. Occasional.

Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., Huong Thuy Distr., Duong Hoa Municipality, Huong Thuy forest enterprise territory, around point 16°13'25''N, 107°34'09''E, rocky quartzite outcrops along Mang Chan ridge at elevation about 825 m a.s.l. Fractionally logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest along ridge tops composed with white eroded quartzite. Creeping lithophytic fern on shady mossy rocky cliffs. Locally very common.

Thua Thien – Hue Prov., Nam Dong Distr., Thuong Lo Municipality, along Cha Mang stream, around point 16°07’46’’N 107°44’24’’E. Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on very steep hill slopes composed with stratified shale and sandstone at elev. about 250-300 m a.s.l. Lithophyte along shady rocky stream, on wet mossy rocks along water line. Rare.

Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., Nam Dong Distr., Huong Son Municipality, around point 16°09'52''N, 107°36'22''E (around plot 16°09'36''N, 107°36'10''E). Heavily logged primary closed broad-leaved evergreen lowland forest along La Ma River on very steep hill slopes composed with clayey shale at elevation about 300-450 m a.s.l. Lithophytic fern on shady rocky stream slopes. Locally very common. Co-dominant of riparian lithophytic communities.

Primary mixed and coniferous evergreen humid forest with (Pinus sp., Pseudotsuga sinensis, Podocarpus neriifolius) on very steep slopes and on mountain tops composed by solid highly eroded limestone at elevation 1200-1300 m a.s.l. around point 22°45’24.8’’N 105°46’47.9’’E. Lithophytic fern on limestone cliff near mountain top. Rare

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Minh Hoa Distr., Dan Hoa municipality, Giang Man Mountain, Vietnam-Laotian border, about 6 km to N of Cha Lo borders station, around point 17º41’09’’N 105º45’54’’E. Coniferous primary forest with Dacrydium and Fokienia along ridge edge composed with brown shale at elevation 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Lithophyte on shady mossy rocks. Not common.
