Primary dry evergreen and semideciduous broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky slope near karstic hill top composed with solid, marble-like highly eroded limestone at 350-430 m a.s.l. Terrestrial acaulescent herb with linear leaves on shady rocky slope among rocks. Not common. 9 May 2018, L. Averyanov, Khang Sinh Nguyen, T. Degraded primary broad-leaved humid evergreen forest along rocky canyon of small stream at the base of mountains composed with solid crystalline highly eroded limestone at elevation 900-1000 m a.s.l. around point 22°38’43.8’’N 105°19’19.8’’E. Terrestrial herb on shady wet stream slope. Leaves uniform green with dirty dull purple nerves below. Flowers light pink, anthers and stigmas yellow. Vietnam, Tuyen Quang prov., Na Hang distr., Xuan Tam municipality, near Ban Cai village (22º29'18''N, 105º19'47''E). Primary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on very steep slopes of highly eroded remnant limestone ridge at elev. 450-550 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on steep shady slope. Leaves with yellowish-green spots. Flowers: tepals deep brown-purple, stigma white. Very common. No HAL 184 22 March 2001 Collectors: P.K.Loc, N.X.Tam, L. Averyanov.

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Minh Hoa Distr., Thuong Hoa Municipality, about 2 km to E of Ban On village (17º40'21''N, 105º58'00E). Heavily logged primary and secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest and scrub on rocky ridge composed with solid and stratified marble-like highly eroded crystalline limestone at elevation 550-650 m a.s.l. Epiphyte (on Phyllanthus sp., Pistacia cucphuongensis, Memecylon sp., Quercus sp., Allospondias lakonensis, Choerospondias axillaris, Pterospermum spp.) and lithophyte on shady slope of N exposition.
