Old open secondary dry coniferous mt forest with domination of Pinus kesiya at 1550-1700 m alt. in 8-10 km from Bi Dup main peak to the W (N 12° 07', E 108° 36'). Epiphyte mostly on Lyonia and Lithocarpus. Tepals pale green, lip pale green with light pink tint, margin of sidelobes black-purple, column green, anther yellow. Not rare.

Tepals yellow-whitish with purple tint and deep purple-violet stripes, top of lip yellow, flowers not smelled. Not rare.

Remnants of primary broad-leaved evergreen forest on tops of hills composed with karstic highly eroded yellow-white limestone at elevation 1150-1250 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on tall mossy trees. Occasional.

Primary coniferous forest with Pinus kwangtungensis and Calocedrus rupestris on very steep rocky slopes of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded solid limestone at elevation 1000-1150 m a.s.l. Canopy epiphyte on old mossy tree. Occasional.

Phin, vicinities of Ta Xa village, 14-16 km to SSW of Dong Van town (N
23°16′ E 105°22′). Secondary shrubs and short tall grasslands along
edge of broadleaved wet forest on steep slopes of karst remnant
limestone ridge at 1300-1350 m elev. Terrestrial herb in open places
among limestone rocks. Flowers pinkish-white. Not common.

Binh (N 22°37′ E 105°52′), about 41 km to W from Cao Bang town.
Elevation from Le A pass to Na Ni mt. peak at 1400-1900 m alt. Old
secondary closed evegreen wet mountain forest. Herb up to 20 cm hg on
open steep wet slope. Flowers light pink. Rare.
