Vietnam, Thanh Hoa Prov., Muong Lat Distr. at elev. about 600-800 m a.s.l. Broad-leaved evergreen lowland forest on slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline limestone. Epiphyte. Flowers with unpleasant smell of decaying protein. Sepals and petals dark olive-green with numerous deep purple-brown spots; lip white (hypochile with light green tint) with brown-purple spots; operculum very light yellow heavily brown-purple spotted at the base; ovary deep green with purple-brown tint, purple-brown spotted at the base. Very rare.

Highly degraded primary evergreen broadleaved humid forest on very steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid limestone at elevation 1100-1300 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on old tree on the top of mountain. Flowers with strong unpleasant smell, tepals dark purple-brown, epichile white with yellow center and purple marks, hypochile and column dull purple violet, anther yellow. Very rare.

Epiphyte in shady place. Flowers: tepals yellowish with reddish small spots. Lip white. Rare.

Achlorophyllous saprophytic creeping epiphytic vine up to 5 m long. Flowers brightly yellow, lip side-lobes with orange-red striation. Stem at the base deep purple-brown. Common.

light yellow to yellow. Rare.

with erect reddish-purple stem 2-4 m hg in

open place among bamboo. Flowers brightly yellow; lip lobes with red

hairs; column yellow; anther reddish-orange. Rare.

Open dry semi-deciduous Dipterocarpus forest on thin ferralite gray soils at elevation about 200 m a.s.l. along Srepok river valley.

Terrestrial ephemeroid herb up to 20 cm tall. Tepals olive-green, lip white with pinkish center. Rare.

Vientiane Prov., Vang Vieng Distr., vicinity of Vang Vieng town, around point 18°54’58”N 102°24’52”E.

Secondary broadleaved evergreen dry forest on very steep rocky slopes and on the top of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded crystalline marble-like limestone at elevation 400-450 m a.s.l.

Terrestrial tuberiferous herb in rather open grassy place among open rocks. Tepals olive with dull brownish nerves, lip white with fine purple markings. Not common.

Open dry semi-deciduous Dipterocarpus forest and woodlands on thin ferralite gray to brown rocky soils at elevation about 200 m a.s.l. Terrestrial ephemeroid tuberiferous herb with erect leafless stem to 30 cm tall. Flowers odorless, tepals chestnut-brown, lip yellow, side-lobes whitish with purple nerves, epichile brightly yellow, spur yellowish with brown-purple nerves. Very rare.
