Highly degraded primary evergreen broadleaved dry forest on very steep slopes and on tops of remnant mountains composed with solid limestone at elevation 850-1050 m a.s.l. Palm to 2.5 m tall on rather open rocky very steep slpe. Flowers yellow. Very common.

Secondary broadleaved evergreen closed forest in humid wet depression between remnant mountains composed with rocky highly eroded crystalline limestone at elev. about 100 m a.s.l. Almost stemless palm with leaves to 4 m long among mossy shady rocks. Occasional.

Remnants of primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on cliffs and on very steep slopes of remnant hill composed by highly eroded stratified dark gray shale limestone at elevation 500-700 m a.s.l. around point 20°40’35.4’’N 104°48’14.3’’E. Palm to 1.5 m tall on very steep rocky mossy slope near mountain top. Very common.

Remnants of primary broadleaved evergreen forest on top of remnant mountain composed with solid highly eroded limestone at elevation 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Palm to 4 m tall. Flowers yellowish. Locally very common.
