Wild collected plant in the orchid garden of Hoang Lien National Park Headquarter in Sapa town, presumably collected in southern Vietnam. Lateral sepals bright red, median sepal and petals pale orange with many red markings distally. Very rare.

Secondary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on mountain slopes composed with sandstone at elevations 550–650 m a.s.l. Wild collected plant cultivated in village. Epiphyte on tall trees. Flowers buds light greenish. Not common.
