N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Nguyen Binh, municipality Thai Hoc, about 5-6 km to ENE of Nguyen Binh town (N 22ш39' E 105ш57').

Secondary open shrubs on steep slopes of karst remnant limestone mesae at 500-550 m elev. Shrub up to 2-3 m hg. Flowers yellowish-green. Very common. Dominant of secondary shrubs in the area.

S. Vietnam, Prov. Quangnam-Danang. Evergreen close primary forest on SE slope of Ngoc Linh mountain system at 1800 m alt., near the

boundary of Kontum and Quangnam-Danang provinces. Tree up to 10 m high. Ripe fruits grey brownish, edible (but too acid).

S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay and Prov. Khanh Hoa, distr. Khanh Son boundary region, 41 km to NE from Dalat city. Primary closed broadleaved cloud forest along Nui Hon Giao ridge at 1800-1900 m alt. (N 12° 11', E 108° 43'). Shrub about 3 m hg. Flowers yellowish-white. Not rare.
