Slightly logged primary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest on slopes of mountains composed with shale, sandstone and occasionally granite, along rocky stream valley. Terrestrial sedge on shady steep stream slope. Common.

Highly destroyed primary and secondary broadleaved evergreen forest on very steep mountain slopes with granite mother rocks at elev. 1200-1500 m a.s.l. Terrestrial sedge to 2 m tall on open road cut. Very common.

Terrestrial and lithophytic sedge. Common.

Primary evergreen broad-leaved and mixed montane forests (with Fokienia hodginsii) along granite and quartzite ridge at elev. 2000-2100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial sedge. Common. Usual co-dominant of herb forest stratum.

Primary very humid broad-leaved forest with Cunninghamia konishii as emergent on steep mountain slopes composed of gray shale at elevation 2100-2200 m a.s.l. around point 19°13’52.9’’N 104°05’30.5’’E. Terrestrial sedge in open plase on very steep slope. Common.

Primary evergreen broad-leaved and mixed montane forests (with Fokienia hodginsii) along granite and quartzite ridge at elev. 2000-2100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb on open mossy rocky cliffs (especially in Sphagnum pillows). Locally common.
