Primary wet closed mountain broad-leaved and mixed forest on granites along very steep shady slopes of river canyon at elev. 1550 m. Tree 40-45 m hg. Common. Codominant of 1 forest stratum at elev.

Primary mixed and coniferous evergreen humid forest with (Pinus sp., Pseudotsuga sinensis, Podocarpus neriifolius) on very steep slopes and on mountain tops composed by solid highly eroded limestone at elevation 1200-1300 m a.s.l. around point 22°45’24.8’’N 105°46’47.9’’E. Tree about 15 m tall and 30-40 cm DBH on slopes and on mountain tops. Common. Usual co-dominant of coniferous forest.

Pinus dalatensis Ferr?

Saravan Prov., Sa Mouay Distr., to the SEE of Sa Mouay town, elevation from Ta Oy village (700 m elev.) to mountain ridge with highest point at 1350 m around 16°08’47.0”N 106°52’35.4”E. Primary evergreen humid mixed and coniferous forest on slopes composed with silicate rocks. Tree to 40 m tall and to 1.5 m DBH on tops and on ridge slopes from 1150 to the tops of ridge. Large old trees not common, seedlings, saplings and young trees to 0.15 m DBH abundant. Cones 6-8 cm long in old trees and to 18 cm long in younger samples.

Primary and old secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky slopes composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone around point 22º27’20’’N 105º36’06’E at elevation of about 750 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on tall trees along ridge edge above tall cliff. Occasional.

Lam Dong Province, the border of Lac Duong and Dam Rong districts, Bidoup – Nui Ba National Park, mountain evergreen broad-leaved and mixed forest (with Pinus kesiya) at elevation 1600–1800 m a.s.l.
