Quang Binh Province, Le Thuy District, Kim Thuy Municipality. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo on very steep river slopes composed by shaly limestone at elevation about 60–100 m a.s.l. around point 17º4’29’’N 106º43’5’’E.

Creeping lithophytic herb on shady wet rocks along river near water. Very common.

Phu Yen Province, Dong Ha District, Deo Ca Pass. Dense sclerophyllous short wind formed forest and scrub on steep rocky sea-faced slopes among big granite boulders at elevation 100-150 m a.s.l. Terrestrial palm to 1.5 tall on shady rocky steep slope. Not rare.
