Epiphyte on Livistona chinense. Occasional.

Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Hoang Su Phi Distr., Ho Thau Municipality, around Chien Thang village, about 4 km to NW of Ho Thau village (22º37’24’’N, 104º38’00’’E) at elev. 1200-1500 m a.s.l. Remnants of heavily logged primary and secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep slopes of mountains composed with shale and granite with quartzite. Lithophyte on large shady boulders. Occasional.

Primary and secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep slopes and cliffs of highly eroded red-brown sandstone at elevation 1000-1050 m a.s.l. around point 20°42’02.1N 104°37’23.1E. Lithophytic fern on vertical cliff. Not common.

Broad-leaved evergreen primary closed wet mt forest along deep rocky stream canyon. Lithophytic fern on shady wet stream cliffs near water in deep shade. Locally abundant.
