Terrestrial herb with epigeous rhizome to 25 cm long on steep rocky slope. Leaves dark green with unclear dull light green spots. Occasional.

Secondary scrub and secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on remnant limestone hills composed with highly eroded solid crystalline limestone at elevation 600-700 m a.s.l. Lithophytic rosulate herb on cliffs near hill top. Flowers uniform yellow, median sepal with brown at the basal third, sometime with unclear white margin. Presently very rare.

Primary and old secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on steep slopes composed with solid shaly limestone at elevation 900–950 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb to 0.5 m tall on steep, rather open rocky slope. Leaves and petioles uniform green, flowers white, anthers and stigma yellow. Very common.
