Cao Bang Prov., Bao Lac Distr., Hong An municipality, Mi Lung village. Primary broad-leaved and mixed humid evergreen forest (with Podocarpus, Pinus, Fokienia and Tsuga) on very steep slopes and along rocky ridge composed with solid crystalline highly eroded limestone at elevation about 1500-1550 m a.s.l. around point 22°49’15.4’’N 105°49’53’’E. Terrestrial herb in shady wet places on rocky mountain slopes near ridge edge. Spathe light greel to almost white with longitudinal stripe brown markings. Common.

Arisaema franschetii

N.Vietnam, Cao Bang Prov., Trung Khanh Distr., Ngoc Khe Municipality, Pac Nga village, around point 22º54'59''N, 106º31'44''E, at elevation 800-850 m a.s.l. Remnants of primary broad-leaved and coniferous forest on ridge tops and on very steep slopes and cliffs of rocky ridges and mesae composed with light gray solid marble-like highly eroded crystalline limestone. Lithophytic herb on steep rocky slope. Spathe purple-violet with white stripes, inflorescence apex purple-violet. Common.

N. Vietnam, Prov. Cao Bang, distr. Tra Linh, municipalite Quoc Toan, vicinity of Thang Heng and Lung Tao villages near Thang Heng lake. Broadleaved evergreen closed primary forest on steep slopes and bluffs of limestone mesas and ridges at 650-800 m alt. Terrestrial and epilitic herb on steep rocky slopes. Spathe deep purple-violet with white stripes. Not rare.
