Lam Dong Province, Dam Rong District, Phi Lieng Village, Phu Son Pass. Shady secondary forest with bamboo on very steep slope at elevation 1000-1400 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb to 1.5 m tall on steep shady slope. Flowers bright red. Common.
