Pandanus sp.

S.Vietnam, Ninh Thuan Prov., Ninh Hai Distr., Vinh Hai Municipality, NEE slopes on Nui Chua mountains to SW of point 11o43'52''N 109o08'35''E at elev. about 800-900 m a.s.l. Primary evergreen closed dry forest on rocky mountain slopes composed with granite. Palm-like shrub up to 3 m tall. Fruits in 4-5 closed spherical compounds each 6-8 cm in diam. Very common.
