FLORA OF VIETNAM

Orchidaceae

Dendrobium anosmum Lindl.

S. Vietnam, Dak Lac Prov., Krong Bong Distr., Krong Kmar waterfall, N slope of Chu Yang Sinh mt system (12ø29'N, 108ø20'E). Remnants of primary evergreen dry broad-leaved forest on granite outcrops at elev. 400-450 m. Epiphyte on vertical cliff. Flowers spicy (like vanilla) fragrant, light violet, lip with two deep violet spots. Rare.
