Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., Huong Nguyen Municipality, in vicinities of Tra Ve forest protection station, around point 16°13'47''N, 107°27'47''E at elevation about 120-300 m a.s.l. Secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep hill and mountain slopes composed with shale. Terrestrial herb on shady slope. Flowers white, tepals at apex sometimes with pink-violet tint. Very common. Co-dominant of herb forest stratum.
