Plant cultivated in private garden of Mr Vo Van Cong in Pleiku City, originated from Kon Tum province, Tu Mo Rong district, Ngoc Linh Mountains. Purchased in 2016 by V.V. Cong.

13 October 2016 2 living specimen, plant newer flowered.

Flowered in May 2017, lateral sepals yellow-orange.
